Watch: Oh Heck No!

Many of us are working within a ‘virtual’ world these days and using webcams of some sort to prove that we are actually ‘in’ the meetings that we are having. Whether they are built in to our computers/phones or not, the look of webcams is pretty standard. If it’s built in, it’s a little lens, if not, it’s usually some sort of tube or bubble that sits on top of the computer. It doesn’t really give the impression of ACTUALLY speaking to someone or having them pay attention to you. It’s what we’ve got though, right? We can’t really do much about it? Well…one company has developed the ‘Eyecam’ which actually looks like a human eye, skin and eyebrows included! Oh yeah, and it moves, follows your movements and when you turn it on…it wakes up! I don’t think I could do it, it’s too creepy! Check out the video below for the ‘Eyecam’ in action!

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
