Officer Dragged By Stolen Car

The driver of a stolen vehicle is being sought after police say an officer was dragged in the north end.

Police tell us just after midnight, into Sunday morning, they came across what was confirmed a stolen vehicle near Cumberland and Camelot.

Police say a female passenger got out, but the female driver began to resist one of the police officers. The driver began speeding north on Cumberland, dragging the officer who eventually fell off.

The driver then collided with another police car, before speeding off. Police add the police officer did not receive significant injuries.

Police say they are looking for a dark grey 2018 or 2019 four-door Toyota Corolla. They also have no description of the suspect nor have they told us what happened with the passenger.
