Noelle Dumas

December 25, 1966 – March 15, 2026

Ms. Noelle Dumas, age 59 years, resident of Thunder Bay, ON, passed away peacefully with family by her side at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Sunday, March 15th, 2026. Born on December 25, 1966, in Fort William, ON to Olive and George Dumas. She was employed as an administrator with St. Joseph’s Care Group. She proudly worked in Vancouver, BC as a veterinary technician and in Thunder Bay and Armstrong, ON as an administrator for the MNR for many years previous. Noelle enjoyed travelling, camping, playing euchre, hosting dinners, and most of all, spending time with her family. 

Noelle is survived by her daughter Sydney Haskins (Ben); sister Eva Dupuis; brother George “Max” Dumas Jr. (Cathy). Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. 

She is predeceased by her parents Olive and George Dumas; sisters Loralee Simpson and Verna “Judy” Hardy; and beloved nephew Edmund Dupuis (Shannon). 

A celebration of life for the late Ms. Noelle Dumas will be held on Thursday, March 19th, 2026, from 12:00pm to 3:00pm in the ITALIAN CULTURAL CENTRE’S GALILEO ROOM, 132 Algoma St. S. Guests are encouraged to bring their favourite photos of Noelle with family/friends and to share their most treasured memories. 

If friends so desire, donation to the St. Joseph’s Foundation of Thunder Bay, Canadian Mental Health Association Thunder Bay, or Thunder Bay Indigenous Friendship Centre would be greatly appreciated.
