Mrs. Carol Bruni

Mrs. Carol Bruni, age 79, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026, with her family by her side.

Born on September 15, 1946, in Fort William, Ontario, Carol lived a life centered around her family. She found joy in camping, fishing, and trips to Grand Portage Casino.

Her grandsons were truly her world, and being their grandmother was one of her greatest joys. Her presence brought comfort to those around her, her words were thoughtful, and her actions reflected a heart that consistently put others first.

Carol is survived by Leo, her husband of 49 years; her daughters Karen and Leanne (Tim); her grandchildren Rocco, Gio, and Ozzie; and her brother Rick.

She was predeceased by her parents, Margaret and Albert Ostrowski, and her sister, Debra Bramley.

Carol will be remembered for her loving, thoughtful, and selfless nature—but also for her strength, her stubborn streak, and the way she held the people she loved to a high standard. She told you what you needed to hear, stood her ground, and always wanted the best for her family, even when it wasn’t the easiest path. That was her way of loving—steady, honest, and unwavering.

Her legacy lives on in the values she instilled, the resilience she encouraged, and the deep care she showed in both her gentle and her stronger moments. The lessons she passed down and the love she gave will continue to guide her family every day. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love and gratitude.

Cremation has taken place and, as per her wishes, no service will be held.

If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.
