Georgina Lee Harron

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Georgina Lee Harron, a resident of Rosslyn, Ontario. As family gathered at her side, Georgina left this life, for the next, on April 2, 2026 at Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Centre. Born May 10th, 1956, she was married 52 years to her loving husband, Dean.

Georgina was a proud wife, mom, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Lakehead University, drove a school bus for many years, and adored taking ‘her kids’ to and from school safely. She loved making candles, crafting balms, and enjoying the gardens and the birds. Her legacy is and was taking care of her family. This was first and foremost in her life, and put everyone ahead of herself.

She is survived by spouse, Howard Dean Harron, 2 sons, Dean and Taylor, her daughter, Jennifer, and Granddaughter Emma, grandsons William and Colin, brother Don and sisters Ruby and Mailyn, as well as friends and other family local and abroad. A celebration of life is to be held at a later time. Georgina taught her family, and those close to her the true meaning of unconditional love. She remains forever etched in our hearts, our memories, and our souls – rest in peace.

“Georgina, you were the wind in my sails, you made me strong, I love you so much. I will love you and miss you forever.” Your loving husband, Dean.
