Andrew Lamothe

October 10, 1944 – September 4, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Andrew “Andy” Lamothe at his home on September 4, 2026.

Andy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Above all else, his family was always his greatest priority. He cherished the time spent with those he loved and was always there with an open heart, and a helping hand.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Connie; his daughter, Andrea; his son, Michael (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Nicholas and Claire, who brought him great joy. He will also be deeply missed by his “adopted son,” Wendell Brown (Isabel) who held a special place in Andy’s heart.

Andy was predeceased by his parents, Lionel and Margaret Lamothe.

He will be sadly missed by his siblings, Marcel (Susan), Suzie (Gary), Murielle (predeceased – Ki), and Priscille (Bob), as well as by Connie’s family: predeceased Michael and Doreen Gratz, and her siblings Carol (Brian), John (Bonnie), Judy (Doug), and Lyle (Lynn).

Andy had a special place in his heart for all of his nieces and nephews, and he loved each of them dearly.

Andy was a proud member of the O.P.P and served his community for 30 years.

He touched many lives through his kindness, friendship, and genuine care for others.

Rest peacefully, Andy.

Celebration of Life will be held on October 17, 2026 from 1-4pm at Rosslyn Community Hall, 3405 Rosslyn Road, Thunder Bay.
