NPI Looks At Localizing Provincial Decision-Making

The Northern Policy Institute is looking into localized decision-making on provincial issues for the north.

CEO Charles Cirtwill says it would mean provincial issues could be decided closer to home.

He sites as an example government funding. Cirtwill says the money would come from the central government, but the decisions on how to spend it would come from officials in the north.

He adds a NPI report on the matter should be out in the near future.
