Something that the area was very much in need for a number of years, pandemic aside.
The NorWest Community Health Centres has partnered with Evergreen Pharmacy to offer a clinic, which will operate five days a week and focusing on mental health and wellness, as well as preventative care.
The clinic will be available for walk-ins to the whole community. However, as many residents are looking for a permanent health care provider, the new clinic will first focus on their current client roster before expanding their availability and services.
The pharmacy is open for retail customers, but the NorWest Community Health Centres clinic & pharmacy health services will open in the fall.
