Northwood Home Involved In Big Drug Bust

Drugs, weapons and cash were all collected during a raid at a home in Northwood.

Thunder Bay Police went to a home in the Limbrick neighbourhood on the morning of March 16th. There was an ongoing investigation for the address, but their visit was for a separate reason.

When officers arrived they found a multitude of evidence that suggested there was serious drug dealing happening within the home.

Police recovered more than $40k in cash, as well as a load of crack cocaine, fentanyl and a loaded handgun. The drugs have an estimated street value of $47,000.

Four people were arrested including a 17 and 18 year old boys from Toronto, 30 year old man from Thunder Bay and a 50 year old woman also from the area.

They are each facing a minimum 11 charges that include various drug possession, weapons and trafficking charges.

All four suspects will be staying with police until a future court date.
