30 dogs from the northern community of Whitefish Bay First Nation will soon have new homes.
The dogs are stopping in Thunder Bay today where volunteers will be walking, cleaning, feeding and preparing them for the next leg of their journey to southern Ontario.
In the end, the dogs will go to OSPCA animal centres in Barrie, Orillia and Orangeville among other southern locations.
