North End Hotel Fire Under Investigation

No injuries but officials are looking into a cause of flames at a north side hotel.

Fire crews were called to the Landmark Hotel on Dawson Road around 3:00 a.m. Friday, and quickly upgraded the initial alarm to a second alarm after staff noticed smoke on the third floor of the complex.

Damage was limited to the contents of the single room while smoke and water destruction was sustained in the immediate adjoining rooms.

The cause remains under investigation.
