It’s the start of a four month nomination period for those interested in running for Mayor and City Council.
Doors opened to City Hall at 8:30 and so far no one has signed their forms in the City Clerk’s office on the third floor.
People started to sign their papers at nine this morning.
Election signage is set up around the third floor welcoming potential nominees.
A recent information session saw plenty interest from the public in running for office with around 60 people attending.
The nomination period closes at 2:00 at City Hall on July 27th.
