No one injured in fire on North Syndicate Avenue

A fire to a multi-unit residence on North Sydicate Avenue has been successfully extinguished.

The blaze broke out around 2 am Sunday morning.

Thunder Bay Fire Rescue says residents of the building were just exiting when they arrived at the scene.

The first crews on the scene found smoke at the front door of the two-story building.

Fire fighers entered and quickly extinguished the fire.

They also confirmed that all the occupants had safety exited the building.

A total of 6 Pumper trucks, an aerial ladder truck and one command vehicle responded to the incident.
