Fortunately no injuries following a townhouse fire on John Street.
Thunder Bay fire fighters got the call just after midnight, arriving to find smoke and flames coming from the 1st floor.
They were also told by people on scene there could be three people inside.
As the fire was quickly brought under control, a search of the building found no one within.
Damage is extensive to the 1st and 2nd floors, with no cause given.
