Nipigon resident arrested following collision

A Nipigon resident has been arrested for impaired operation following a collision on Highway 11 near Reflection Lake.

On the morning of January 16, members of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a two-vehicle collision between a passenger motor vehicle and a commercial motor vehicle.

Two occupants from the passenger vehicle were transported to a local area hospital with minor injuries, and no other injuries were reported.

Through investigation, a 34-year-old is facing a single charge of Operation While Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
