If travelling down Victoria Avenue is part of your daily commute you will need to be on alert.
Starting today the City of Thunder Bay says the pedestrian crossing at the intersection of Victoria and Ford Street is being activated.
That means you must stop when the lights are flashing to allow pedestrians to cross safely.
It is one of six such pedestrian crossings now operating throughout the city with three more in the works.
