More restrictions are coming to Ontario residents.
The Doug Ford government will be implementing restrictions similar to what we had for Step 2.
New restrictions include:
- Schools to shift to online learning until January 17 (subject to public health trends and operational considerations)
- No indoor dining
- outdoor to have max 10 people (food courts in malls to close as well)
- 50 per cent capacity at retail stores
- Indoor wedding/funeral services reduced to 50 per cent capacity of the room
Business required to close include:
- Casinos/bingo halls
- Concert venues, theatres, cinemas
- Indoor sport and recreational fitness facilities
Hospitals will also be pausing all non-emergent procedures and and non-urgent surgeries.
