A new full day kindergarten will be launched in the fall at the Fort William First Nation.
It’s a partnership between the community and the Thunder Bay Catholic School Board.
Director of Education Pino Tassone says it’s beneficial.
“Easier access to school, no more bus rides for young children, and also we are looking at before and after school care. We feel this will positively impact attendance and late arrivals.”
The school will be a sister site of St. Anne elementary school and will be run out of the community centre. (File photo)
