Thunder Bay Police Services Board has assigned a new acting Deputy Chief.
In a statement released from Board Chair, Kristen Oliver, announced that Superintendent Dan Taddeo will be holding the position for the time being.
The statement reads that Taddeo has been with the service since 1988.
Deputy Chief Ryan Hughes has been suspended pending an internal investigation.
