COVID-19 Case Count Drops Again

Officials report another drop in the active case count when it comes to COVID-19.

The case count is at 93 Wednesday with another 23 cases of the novel coronavirus resolved.

On Monday the case count was 108 and on Tuesday it declined to 103.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit reports 13 new cases:

  • Seven cases obtained through close contact
  • Three cases with no known exposure
  • Two case causes are pending
  • One case from the correctional centre outbreak

The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting four new cases with three in the Kenora area and one within the Rainy River District.

Across the province 1,072 new COVID-19 cases and 41 deaths.
