The Ontario Chiefs in Assembly are offering condolences following the passing of Grand Chief Stan Louttit. Over the past 30 years, Louttit held many leadership positions he was serving his third consecutive four year term as Grand Chief of the Mushkegowuk Council. Louttit was born at Lake River about 100 miles north of Attawapiskat but made Moose Factory his home for the past 50 years.
