The murder of a 79 year old woman in Hamilton has resulted in the arrest of a woman originally from the Thunder Bay area.
Police say 26 year old Larissa Shingebis was arrested just before 9:30 Sunday morning at a Hamilton women’s shelter.
She is to be formally charged with first degree in the death of Gladys Little. Her body was found in her Hamilton apartment May 16th. It was the fifth murder of the year in that city.
Shingebis is to appear in court on Monday.
