The numbers are in.
The City of Thunder Bay is receiving 41.6 million dollars in a transfer payment from the Wynne government. The province says that works out to 27 per cent of the municipality’s tax revenue.
In the region Shuniah is receiving almost 2.2 million and Oliver-Paipoonge 2.4 million dollars. The community of Neebing gets 1 .1 million while Conmee, Gillies and O’Conner are sharing over 850 thousand dollars between them.
The money comes through the Ontario Municipal Partnership Fund.
