Mountain Bike Group Has Big Plans

A local mountain biking group wants to work with the City to enhance trails in the Trowbridge Falls area.

Black Sheep Mountain Bike Club spokesperson Nadine Friday says they will make an official request for city funding or partnership at a later date.

“Our 2019 club projects will see two kilometres of new trail at an investment of $46,000. The full masterplan development is estimated at $1.5 million in investment.”

The club has developed the Trowbridge Forest Master Plan to establish a multi-use trail network for bikers, hikers, runners, skiers and snowshoers.
