More Vaccines For Kashechewan: Ford

Help is coming for the COVID-ravaged Kashechewan First Nation.

That promise is coming from Premier Doug Ford.

Over 200 residents of the First Nation have had COVID-19, many of them between the ages of 12 and 17.

He says more vaccines for the community will be
arriving soon.

“I understand we have the second doses for the most part done. We’re going to be flying in as well to make sure we support getting the 12- to 17-year-olds, and anyone else who needs to be vaccinated, in case they missed the vaccination,” Ford says.

A number of other communities along the James Bay coast are reporting similar issues.
