Looking at the stats for drug impairment, Thunder Bay police caught the highest rate across the province. They add the youngest age of impaired driver was in the late teens, and the oldest driver caught was in the late 70’s.
Police add the average age of an impaired driver is in their mid 30’s, with women making up about 20-percent of the national number of offenders.
