More Money For Autism Services

Kids and youth with autism will get $62 million worth of help from the province.

The funding is for services, training, and supports for families and it’ll be made available over the next year.

The province will now give parents up to $55 an hour to cover services for their children, compared with $39 per hour previously.

Officials say it’s meant to help families access services, give them more choices, and shorten wait lists.
