Making moose hunting fairer and more accessible is the goal of the Ontario government.
Natural Resources and Forestry Minister John Yakabuski says with the help of an advisory panel, they are looking at the whole moose tag allocation system.
“As the review unfolds we will continue to listen and engage hunters and stakeholders to inform future decisions on how tag quotas are developed and distributed.”
The panel will first discuss the current tag system as part of a two-year discussion.
