Monteith-Farrell Gets Vaccinated

Thunder Bay-Atikokan MPP Judith Monteith-Farrell is halfway towards being fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

The NDP member confirms to Acadia Broadcasting that she received the Moderna vaccine this week and spoke positively about the experience.

“You were checked at several points,” Farrell mentioned. “It was a finely tuned machine there where they put you in and out very quickly, and it was respectful and I didn’t even feel the needle going in.”

Farrell, like others who have spoken about getting the first dose, has a return date.

“It will be in August, which is unfortunate right? We’d wish that we had enough vaccine that people could get their second doses quickly but I’ll have to wait just like everyone else.”

The member encouraged her constituents to get the shot when their turn comes up.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
