Ontario’s Medical Officer of Health wants residents to steady the course in practicing good hygiene and social distancing to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
Dr. David Williams notes we’ve been at this for a couple of weeks now.
“So we need to stay the course, it’s like the third and fourth quarter, we still have to keep going strong and not give up on that,” Williams said.
Williams encourages residents to exercise if they want just not in high traffic areas and with others.
The Medical Officer of Health also encouraged residents to avoid purchasing face masks and instead keep six feet apart from others. He says the masks are needed for our medical community.
Williams didn’t say if he would consider advising the Premier of declaring a lockdown situation.
