The new Dean of the Northern Ontario School of Medicine has been on the job for a couple of days.
Dr. Sarita Verma’s official first day on the job was slated for Canada Day.
Verma is replacing the founding Dean of the med school Dr. Roger Strasser.
She comes to NOSM from the Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada where she was the Vice President of Education.
