Mayor Keith Hobbs says he’s getting some heat from some councillors over his suggestion that the city sell Strathcona Golf Course.
However, Hobbs says he’s not changing his mind that the option should be explored next year as a way to keep city tax increases from getting out of hand, especially if the city is looking at being responsible with taxpayer’s dollars.
He believes the land could be sold to a developer for a new housing subdivision.
