Some city officials are eager to know how the pandemic will impact the next municipal election.
Mayor Bill Mauro wants City Council to ask for a report from city staff on how the 2022 election might be affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
His motion is up for a vote at tonight’s Council meeting.
If it’s approved, Council will expect to receive that report from the City Clerk by late August 2021.
