Mask Mandates Extended To June 11th

The mask mandates in congregate settings will continue.

Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Kieran Moore is extending the existing mask requirements from Wednesday, April 27th to Saturday, June 11th.

“Continuing to follow masking requirements and keeping up to date with COVID-19 vaccinations are the best ways we can prevent transmission and protect our friends, families, and our communities,” said Dr. Moore.

The sixth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic led to the mandates remaining in place for hospitals, transit and long-term care homes.
