Man, woman arrested for drunk driving in two separate crashes

A man and a woman face charges for drunk driving in two separate crashes.

The Thunder Bay detachment of the OPP got a call about the first crash around 10 p.m. Monday night.

One vehicle had crashed on the East Arrow Lake Road near the village of Suomi.

Police say they found the driver, a 67-year-old man, was under the influence of alcohol.

The second crash happened just after midnight on highway 527.

They say the 33-year-old woman was also driving drunk.

Both will appear in court.
