A 55-year-old city man is charged with defrauding a 69-year-old bedridden man who has speaking problems.
Police tell us a person who knows the victim tipped them last month off about some suspicious activity.
After an investigation, it was discovered the man who had been repeatedly using credit and debit cards belonging to the victim. Police say he managed to rack up more than $45,000 in fraudulent transactions.
The suspect remains in custody.
