A 39-year-old man is facing charges after police say they were called to an incident where a man was stabbed in the hand.
Police say their investigation revealed that the accused and the victim were in an argument in the area of Donald and Brodie Streets earlier that evening.
The victim was sent to hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Police say the suspect has been charged with assault with a weapon and has a future court date.
