A 41-year-old man is charged with robbery, mischief and possession after police arrested him in connection to a violent armed robbery of a south-side business.
On Friday, police went to Trixx on May Street North after they received a call about a man who entered the business with a knife.
The accused took off with some money and when police found him they found the man to have a substance believed to be Fentanyl.
The accused appeared in court Sunday and was remanded into custody with a future court date.
The business posted security footage of the robbery on social media asking people to help identify the robber and are now thanking the public for their help.
