Someone was in a hurry to get to their destination, unfortunately it may cost them.
Provincial Police in Thunder Bay were patrolling Highway 11/17 just after midnight on Saturday and spotted a vehicle doing 170 kilometres an hour in the Oliver and John Street area.
Three people were in the vehicle that was stopped and officers determined the 35 year-old driver had been drinking and he failed a roadside sobriety test.
The accused faces three charges including impaired and stunt driving.
His driver’s license was suspended for 90 days and vehicle was impounded for 30 day as a result of the stunt driving charge.
