Man Charged Being In Thunder Bay Unlawfully

Three people from Peterborough are facing charges after a traffic stop in Thunder Bay.

Local police say they pulled a car over early Monday morning in the area of Arthur and Brodie Streets, after it did not stop for a red light.

Police found the car was stolen from Peterborough, with further investigation revealing a 24-year-old man was under court order to stay in Peterborough, while another 25-year-old man and 34-year-old woman were charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

The 24-year-old remains in custody, while the other two were released with future court dates.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
