A 34-year-old Thunder Bay man is dead after being struck by a train.
Thunder Bay Police Service says the incident happened on Friday afternoon near the intersection of South Water Street and Pearl Street.
Officers, along with the Primary Response Unit, were called to the scene, where the man was located and pronounced dead.
Forensic teams are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision. Police say no further information is being released at this time.
