Power is back on for around 20,000 homes and businesses on the South side.
Synergy North says it stretched from Highway 130 east the lake shore, and from Oliver Road south to the Slate River area.
The utility says it was because of a transmission issue, and Hydro One was able to restore the power.
It lasted for around 45 minutes this morning.
