The Dryden GM Ice Dogs have reclaimed first place in the Superior International Hockey League standings.
The Ice Dogs won both of their games 6-3 over the Ironwood Lumberjacks.
Through 31 games Dryden has 49 points, three up on the Fort Frances Lakers, who were idle over the weekend.
Elsewhere, the Kam River Fighting Walleye won both of their games against the Red Lake Miners by scores of 4-3 on Saturday night and 3-1 on Friday.
The Thunder Bay North Stars also won both their games over the Sioux Lookout Bombers 5-3 on Saturday and 6-3 Friday night.
The Lakehead Thunderwolves won both their games over the weekend.
On Saturday, Lakehead needed overtime, in a 3-2 win over the Laurier Golden Hawks.
Keighan Gerrie scored the game winner in OT for the Thunderwolves.
On Friday night, the T-Wolves earned a 5-4 win over the Waterloo Warriors.
With the two wins, Lakehead is in first place in the OUA West standings with 27 points, one point up on Toronto Metropolitan University, and Laurier.
This weekend, the Thunderwolves travel to southern Ontario to play the York Lions and the Guelph Gryphons Friday and Saturday.
