The Premier is reminding you not to invite guests over for Thanksgiving.
He’s encouraging Ontarians who want to mark the holiday to only celebrate with their household.
“On the advice of the Chief Medical Officer of Health, it’s not enough to limit the size of Thanksgiving gatherings to ten people or less. We must all do our part to keep gathering sizes small by sticking to our immediate households,” Ford says.
People who live alone are allowed to join one other household, but the Premier urges you to “take the necessary precautions to keep gatherings small.”
As he brings back some Phase 2 restrictions for Toronto, Ottawa, and Peel Region, Ford is also encouraging all communities to limit unnecessary trips outside the home.
