Expect to see demolition begin on the old Labour Centre building on Fort William Road, in the next month or so.
That’s the word from a spokesperson for the developers, C & H Properties out of Edmonton.
He says there’ll be about 40 thousand square feet of space available for development on the 4 and a half acre property.
He says so far the only confirmed tenant is The Beer Store. He says negotiations continue with other interested parties, including a restaurant, a home decoration company and a pharmacy.
He wouldn’t confirm any names.
