The upcoming tryout dates for the Thunder Bay Kings AAA programs 2021-22 season have officially been announced.
The U-13 prospects get things started Aug. 20 at 4:15 p.m. from Fort William First Nation arena.
Both the U-15 and U-18 squads will begin Aug. 21.
Finally, the U-16 team will see their tryouts kick-off Aug. 23.
The upcoming season will have the U-15, U-16, and U-18 make their debuts in the Greater Ontario Hockey League, after being granted the ability to play in the AAA divisions in the GTHL last year.
The U-13 Kings are scheduled to compete in the U-15 AA Division of the Thunder Bay Minor Hockey Association.
They will also be involved in a pair of weekends against GTHL competition, along with a number of out of town tournaments.
The other three squads will also see tournament play at various points of the season.
Also on the tap will be the various district, regional and provincial championships for the U-13, U-15 and U-18s while the U-16 squad will vie for the OHL Cup.
