Kids Learning From Home Until March 29th

Virtual learning will continue through the end of the month.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit, in a statement Wednesday, confirms that the Dr. Janet DeMille is directing schools to extend the suspension of in-person learning until March 29, 2021.

The Medical Officer of Health sent the instruction to the following boards:

Lakehead District School Board
Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board
CSDC des Aurores Boreales – Thunder Bay schools
Lac des Mille Lacs Education Centre

Students have been learning from home since March 1st.
