KFP Gets New Deal

Some positive news for the Kenora Forest Products sawmill.
Unifor says it has a new six year deal in place for employees once the mill re-opens in 2015.
Stephen Boon is a national union representitive and says the contract will affect over 100 employees and includes a three percent wage increase each year of the deal.
The deal will kick in this fall and expires in 2020.
Under the terms of the deal, the company has promised a 30 percent target to employ aboriginal workers at the sawmill.
