Kevin Mullins Is Schreiber’s New Mayor

The Township of Schreiber has appointed its next mayor.

Kevin Mullins, who was Deputy Mayor, takes over the role, after Mayor Dave Hamilton died in a car crash in February on Highway 11/17.

Mullins was elected to council in 2018, and served as Deputy Mayor for the last two years.

He served 39 years as a Township employee, left, but then returned out of what the Township calls his love for the community.

Schreiber is now accepting applications from those who would like to fill Mullins’ now former position on council.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
