The federal candidates in the Kenora riding are talking about what can be done to move our economy forward.
Howard Hampton of the NDP says government inaction surrounding the Ring of Fire is hurting the region. He also notes the government continues to ship out all of our resources, and concentrate its efforts on the oil and gas sector out west.
Conservative Greg Rickford says there are still challenges in the resource and energy sector, but notes they’ve made some significant investments. And Liberal Bob Nault says energy prices continue to hold us back.
The three will face off in an All-Candidates Forum on Wednesday.
